The Undergraduate Accounting Society would like to cordially invite all of you to join us for our Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) information session this Thursday, Nov. 29th from 8 pm to 9:30 pm at Otterson Hall 1S113. Join us as we detail a wonderful opportunity to gain relevant tax preparation experience as well as giving back to the community by helping people with low income with their tax forms.

Available Positions:

–          VITA ‘Lead’ Tax Preparation Volunteer: For past volunteers interested in taking on a leadership role within the program.

–          VITA Tax Preparation Volunteer: For all those interested in working as certified tax preparers for approximately 8-10 hours per week.

–          VITA Tax Program Liaison: For volunteers who want to support the program but are not able to commit to getting certified as preparers.
