Invitation to the Conference for Research in the Arts, Social Sciences, and Humanities (CRASSH) – March 17

Academic Enrichment Programs, in collaboration with the Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs, the Division of Arts & Humanities, the Division of Social Sciences, Revelle College, and the Office of Research Affairs would like to invite you to the Conference for Research in the Arts, Social Sciences, and Humanities (CRASSH) on March 17, 2017.

The conference opens at 9am with breakfast and registration at the Institute of the Americas, Friend Plaza, located in Eleanor Roosevelt College. The day will include plenary speakers, as well as student presentations, from UC San Diego, local universities and community colleges. The conference is FREE and open to the public (registration required).
Our keynote speaker is Emily Roxworthy, Professor of Theatre and Dance, and Provost of Earl Warren College.

We are looking for student presenters at all levels for the conference. Presentations may be posters, artwork, or performances. The projects do not need to be completed by the day of the conference, just complete enough to share with others and open a dialogue about your research.  Presenters will be eligible to win an iPad Air 2! The winner will be randomly chosen.

Our mission is to encourage undergraduate research in the arts, social sciences, and humanities that incorporates creative and diverse conceptualization. There is no charge to present at or attend the conference. Meals will be served at the conference for all registered attendees. There will be an opportunity drawing for attendees at the end of the conference (must be present to win).
