Kakehashi Student Panel – February 8th
The School of Global Policy and Strategy was chosen in 2016 to participate in an annual program created by the Japanese government known as the Kakehashi Project, a program which seeks to strengthen bonds between the United States and Japan through personal connections, business exchange, and mutual understanding. The focus of this particular year was on economics.
At this event, a panel of students who participated in the Kakehashi Project will be presenting their experiences, impressions, and ideas regarding the future of Japan/U.S relations, with a particular focus on economic ties. For anyone interested in working or studying in Japan, international relations and economics, etc., this presentation will highlight many important facets of building constructive relationships with people and businesses abroad, both in Japan and elsewhere.
