Fall Quarterly Conversations in Global Health

November 16th – 4-6pm

Great Hall, UC San Diego

Topic: The inaugural “ Quarterly Conversations in Global Health” will be focusing on the spectrum of issues that surround and stem from HIV/AIDS. Topics that will be discussed include current research being done in the field, HIV/AIDS as a global health concern, and the social effects of stigma related to HIV/AIDS.

Speakers:

  • Steffanie A. Strathdee, Ph.D,  Chief of the Division of Global Public Health in the Department of Medicine at the University of California San Diego School of Medicine.
  • Robert T. Schooley, M.D. – Chief, Division of Infectious Diseases, Department of Medicine
  • Radhika Sundararajan, Ph.D,  Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at UC San Diego
  • HIV Positive Speakers
