Publishing Opportunity for Undergrads

The Michigan Journal of Business, an undergraduate academic journal established in 2008 and published biannually, has a print distribution to over 200 libraries around the world and indexing in EBSCO’s Business Source database and the Directory of Open Access Journals. They are conducting a call for papers for their 16th issue. Their team is interested in publishing outstanding undergraduate papers relevant to business or economics. This issue’s submission deadline is October 11, 2015.

  • Students pursuing the International Studies – International Business major cannot minor in Business or Entrepreneurship & Innovation. However, students majoring in IS-IB can minor in Accounting.
  • If you choose to declare the new major and you are currently minoring in business, then you will have to drop your business minor before declaring the IS-IB major.

Apply now to attend Clinton Global Initiative University 2016 at UC Berkeley, which will take place from Friday, April 1 – Sunday, April 3, 2016. CGI U is President Clinton’s initiative to engage the next generation of leaders on college campuses around the world. Each CGI U student must make a Commitment to Action: a specific plan of action that addresses a pressing challenge on campus, in the community, or in a different part of the world.

The early application and travel assistance deadline is Friday, October 16, 2015. The final application deadline is Tuesday, December 1, 2015.

UC San Diego is a member of the CGI University Network and has funding available for students accepted to CGI U 2016. Students selected for CGI U 2016 may be eligible to receive travel stipends and seed funding to support their projects.
