Spend the summer with IBM’s Watson in New York City – Application Due on 4/12
There are a few places left in our 6-week summer program that offers undergraduates the opportunity to use Watson, IBM’s “cognitive system” popularly known for winning “Jeopardy!” against two human champions of the game in 2011. Students will work together in interdisciplinary teams, simulating a start-up environment, to develop a business idea that leverages Watson’s artificial intelligence and natural language capabilities.
Undergraduates from any major can apply, because different backgrounds and viewpoints are needed to make a great project. The program specifically targets students who are interested in business, technology and design, but other disciplines are also welcome. They are accepting applications until April 12.
Besides spending their days with Watson, NYC-Summer@Cooper students will be immersed in the technology and cultural scenes of New York as part of the program.
