Shi L. Li is a Vice President in the Institutional Equities Division at Morgan Stanley. He works on the equity electronic trading desk and focuses on trading research, including both internal strategies research to improvement trading performance as well as external market research to service institutional clients. Previously, he was an analyst at Lehman Brothers, focused on cross-asset portfolio analytics and risk models. He has a Master’s degree in Statistics from Harvard University. He graduated from University of California, San Diego with a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Electrical Engineering.
Takayoshi Wiesner is a Vice President in Global Capital Markets at Morgan Stanley. He is a desk strategist in the Morgan Stanley Strats & Modeling (MSSM) team whose activities are centered on revenue-generating financial analytics, which varies from structuring and hedging to running simulation and conducting data mining. Previously, he was a Vice President at Mizuho Bank where he led credit modeling efforts as a portfolio risk manager for both the credit trading portfolio and the banking book loan portfolio. He is a frequent speaker at conferences, and he also currently serves as a Subject Matter Expert for PRMIA’s Risk Culture Group and Risk Capital and RAROC Group. He has a Master’s degree in Statistics from Columbia University, a Master’s degree in Quantitative Methods in the Social Sciences from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics with the Highest Distinction from University of California, San Diego.
Chad Wildman is a Desk Strategist Intern in the Morgan Stanley Strats & Modeling team, Fixed Income Division, on the Municipal Securities desk. He is currently working on a project involving analysis and optimization of hedging strategies. Chad is a current student in the Master of Financial Engineering (MFE) program at the University of California, Berkeley, and holds BA, MA, and PhD degrees in Mathematics from the University of California, San Diego. His mathematical research was in the area of nonlinear partial differential equations.
