UIS Presents: Project Management 101 with Kathleen Hedges

Do you have a knack for innovative thinking and like to initiate, organize, and execute projects? Are you interested in strategic planning to help organizations reach their business goals?

If so, UIS invites you to join us this Tuesday to learn more about the project management field. Our special guest speaker, Kathleen Hedges, the Sr. Vice President & Corporate Director of Program Execution of SAIC (Science Applications International Corporation), will provide first hand insight on what a project manager really does through her experience in the industry.

Kathleen Hedges has over 33 years of experience working with SAIC. Her experience in Project Management has earned her recognition as one of the 25 international “Influential Women in Project Management” by the Project Management Institute. She was also awarded the Tribute to Women in Industry Award.

Kathleen Hedges is not only an internationally renowned project manager, but she also teaches program/project management at UCSD’s own Rady School of Management.
