The UCSD Undergraduate Investment Society has invited business leaders for an opportunity to participate in the biggest financial conference at UCSD.

The Financial Horizons Conference brings together hundreds of professionals, students, and alumni. It is UCSD’s premier educational and networking event for students looking to broaden their financial knowledge and employers looking to recruit fresh talent. This year’s speakers include professionals from McKinsey, Google, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Ernst & Young, Qualcomm, Oaktree Capital, JMI Equity, Colony Capital and many more companies.

The Bloomberg Assessment Test – February Dates

 The Bloomberg Assessment Test (BAT) will be coming to campus on 2/21 and 2/22.  Below you will find important information regarding the test and learn how you can use your results to further your career development.

 The goal of the BAT is to match student strengths with employer needs, so you do not need to be an expert on all sections of the test.  However, there is no negative scoring, so it is best to answer all questions.

Bloomberg has relationships with over 20,000 global companies that can access the test score data to recruit for full-time and internship opportunities.  Taking the BAT cannot negatively impact your employment search and there is absolutely nothing to lose by participating in this opportunity.

How to register for the upcoming session:

What:  Bloomberg Assessment Test (screens students for careers in finance, economics, or business) 
When: Thursday, February 21st Friday or February 22nd

FINANCIAL & VALUATION MODELING SEMINARS at UCSD – NOVEMBER 17-18, 2012 and FEBRUARY 16-17, 2013 

 Attention to all students pursuing investment banking, private equity, portfolio management, business and corporate development, capital markets, equity & credit research, and industry corporate finance careers: 

The Rady Finance & Investment Club will be hosting Wall Street Prep’s Financial & Valuation Modeling seminars at UCSD on the weekends of November 17-18 and February 16-17, 2013.

 These intensive weekend seminars will be led by former investment bankers with applied expertise in financial and valuation modeling methodologies, and bridges the gap between academics and the real world to equip students with the hands-on practical financial skills that they will need to excel during the recruiting process and on the job.
