The Green Initiative Fund is a program that provides funding for projects created by undergraduates that reduce UCSD’s negative impact on the environment. The goal is to enable and empower students to take an active role in making UC San Diego a leader in sustainability by bringing solutions and ideas to as much of the UCSD community as possible.

Through this interactive, hands-on course students are guided in exploring their interests and personality and how it relates to the career search. Through class lectures on career development concepts, guest speakers, practice sessions, and assignments, students will conduct research on various careers; receive professional development training; as well as practice and gain confidence in networking and other job search strategies. The course concludes with a career action plan to help the student move forward in their career.

Marketing and Outreach Lead – The San Diego chapter of OBR is currently recruiting a new Marketing and Outreach Lead as well as a Chapter Correspondent. The Marketing and Outreach Lead is responsible for promoting and marketing OBR’s brand and events and will have the opportunity to learn how to sell any idea and develop valuable marketing experience while building and expanding the OBR network and his or her own along the way.
