The Green Initiative Fund

Have a great project idea to promote environmental and social sustainability here at UCSD? Don’t have the money? Apply for The Green Initiative Fund through the Student Sustainability Collective! The Green Initiative Fund is a program that provides funding for projects created by undergraduates that reduce UCSD’s negative impact on the environment. The goal is to enable and empower students to take an active role in making UC San Diego a leader in sustainability by bringing solutions and ideas to as much of the UCSD community as possible.

Free Test Prep Classes for UCSD Students!

ANNOUNCING FREE TEST PREP COURSES FOR UCSD UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS

GMAT Graduate Management Admissions Test Areas covered are: math
ability/problem-solving (short review of algebra and geometry), data
sufficiency, reading comprehension, sentence correction, critical
reasoning, and the analytical writing assessment, information about
the NEW integrative reasoning section. Students will receive 16 hours of
instruction, with full GMAT practice tests with analysis of results

UCSD undergraduate students may take advantage of this offer by
obtaining a Student Grant Voucher of $400 during March 2-8, 2014 at
Extension’s Student Services – Building C* on the Extension campus.

Which career path is right for you and how do you land your first internship or job?  Through this interactive, hands-on course students are guided in exploring their interests and personality and how it relates to the career search. Through class lectures on career development concepts, guest speakers, practice sessions, and assignments, students will conduct research on various careers; receive professional development training; as well as practice and gain confidence in networking and other job search strategies. The course concludes with a career action plan to help the student move forward in their career.
